Dad Sneakers, Now Tourist Sandals…
Can someone tell me what’s with all these ugly shoe trends?? Don’t pretend like you haven’t asked yourself this same question. 2018 gave us the Dad sneaker trend. To say that it wasn’t my favorite shoe trend ever, well… But I was trying to jump on board at least a little bit. And then, 2019 starts us off with tourist sandals? And I’m sitting over here like, ‘Seriously??…’
Now these trends may not be for me, because not every trend works for everyone. Or maybe it just takes a little getting used to, coupled with some outfit experimenting. But one thing I love about fashion is that the right person and the right attitude can make even the ugliest of trends look cool. So while I can’t give my full blessing to either of these ugly shoe trends, here are some ugly shoe outfits I can get on board with.
