Summer is Here!
Off-duty Summer Looks to Copy
It’s officially summer (could someone let mother nature know…) and off-duty summer looks are a must! Beaches, bbq’s, Sunday funday and road tips are on the summer agenda. Off-duty time means we need off-duty outfits for the occasion. We love updating the classics; like cuff-shorts looks and finding cool new looks to try, like a high waisted midi and one shoulder tops.
Here are 6 off-duty summer looks you’re going to want to copy.
1.
Linen Pants + Statement Blouse
Summer style must include linen. I’m beyond obsessed with these high-rise, pleated white linen pants. Style them in infinite ways all summer long; they are perfect for bbq’s and hot summer nights. One outfit combination that is a definite must is linen pants and statement blouses. One can never have enough great blouses in their wardrobe. We promise this is a winning off-duty summer look.

2.
Chic + Minimal
Ok I’m not going to lie, this is my favorite combination in any season. Minimal chic looks are especially great in the summer as they are great to pack on weekend getaways and vacations. And can take you from day to night with a simple shoe change. Not to mention that minimal looks are a great back drop to your amazing summer accessories.
If you don’t have a one shoulder top in your wardrobe it’s time to add one. Don’t wait too long, get one now so you have more time to wear it over the summer season. Trust me you’ll get lots of compliments on the off-duty summer looks you’ll style with this simple minimal piece. Oh and if you’re like me and love all thing high-rise, try adding a high-rise midi to your collection of bottoms. And don’t worry, high-rise bottoms are here to stay.

3.
Feminine Tops + Favorite Jeans
We all have a pair (or more) of our favorite jeans. I personally pair everything from a simple white tee to statement blouses with my favorite Levi’s. I know, I know I’m not alone, we all do it. So if this is a go-to style statement for you try and change it up a bit with an unexpected shoe, like a sneaker. This will give your look a fresh, effortless cool girl street vibe.

Red, White and Cool
Now 4th of July is right around the corner and finding an outfit that both celebrates the day while looking cool can be a challenge. Not any more! We’re loving this red, white and blue striped body suit. This is a great option for summer’s biggest block party. And the best thing about it is you can actually wear it all summer long.

Girly Tomboy
Mixing and matching girly feminine details with masculine details totally makes for cool off-duty summer looks. If you’re looking to mix up a few of your favorite pieces, try taking a night out dress and pairing it with sneakers and geek chic accessories.

Tried + True Updated
All of us have thrown on a pair of cut-offs and a cute top, but it’s time to give this look a little update. All anyone really needs to update classic outfits is fresh, in-the-moment shoes and accessories. If there is one cool girl piece you need, it’s a great hat. And yes you need both a spring/summer and a fall/winter hat. I have to tell you I’m beyond obsessed with this Lack of Color Boater Hat! OMG it will instantly make and all of your off-duty summer looks cool. I promise!
