Summer Style Inspiration

Can you believe summer is here already? I don’t know about you, but my style always changes this time of year. I would say overall my style is pretty mimimal and I don’t veer away from that too much, but it definitely takes on different elements during the summer months. With the weather up and down, and so unpredictable, it makes it hard to style a lot of three piece separates (which is normally how I dress). On a normal day you can almost always find me in jeans, a basic solid tee, some sort of topper piece and rad shoes. To make things easier and more comfortable during Summer I like to ditch the the third piece and stick to dresses, rompers, jumpsuits and shorts. This year, a huge summer trend I know I’ll be sporting is shorts paired with long sleeve shirts. But if this last week is any indication of how hot it will be this summer, and you want to try this trend too, just make sure the shirts are light weight! Same goes for that third piece…if you feel like you need something to finish off the look, go for a sweater or jacket that can breathe; maybe your favorite kimono.

Summer is the perfect season to pull off a monochromatic look. I am OBSESSED with white on white, or any all neutral palette for that matter. But don’t get me wrong, you will also find me in a lot more prints during the summer season. Pulling in prints makes me feel a bit more put together if I’m not wearing separates. Here are a few of my favorite looks to inspire your summer style!
