Why this works in the OC…

The Why: Two big trends I’m loving this fall season are the blanket coat & winter florals-this look has both. I do have a few tips on over sized coats and bells on us petite girls: The key to styling “Bells” is a chunky shoe with lots of height. This will elongate our not-so-long legs and give proper proportion to the bottom of the bells. Now the “Blanket Coat“, I would suggest wearing this over sized coat/sweater with something more tailored and fitted underneath, too many loose layers on our small frames will devourer us whole and we’ll get lost in the look. Hopefully soon we’ll all be able to wear more sweaters!
