High Waisted Shorts
I’m a HUGE fan of high waisted. Whether that be high waisted shorts, jeans, jumpers, or bathing suits. If it’s high waisted, I’m all in. I love wearing high wasted pieces because it shows off the tiniest part of your body, your natural waist… And who doesn’t want to look small? I’m also a huge fan of a half tuck, especially when it comes to button ups. Reason being, to the same point as high waisted, it shows off your figure (it’s also a way to look stylish & modern without trying too hard). Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE oversized button ups (or oversized anything for that matter), especially if it’s paired with something proportionate. But be careful, in person you can look amazing but in a photo you can appear bigger than you are. That’s why a half tuck is always a safe choice.
Like the culottes in the previous What We Wear, I paired this with extremely tall shoes to make my legs look longer and leaner. I also threw on nude accessories because that’s another current obsession of mine!
