Baby it’s Hot Outside!
Beating the heat and looking great can happen! You’re probably going to show a little more skin, but I promise these pieces are just right to keep cool while it’s hot hot hot. The styling trick that I live by in the heat is: loose, flowy clothing. Dresses (mini to maxi), jumpsuits (my personal favorite) + playsuits, wrap skirts, shorts, crop tops, and wide leg pants alway get top style bookings in hot weather. And hot summer looks.
Showing more skin in the summer is a fine balance. A good general style rule for summer separates is pair crop tops + bandeaus with high waisted bottoms. And when it comes to short shorts or skirts, consider a longer top or a cropped top with sleeves. Remember to pick what skin you’d like to show in the summer; arms and legs, midriff or plunging neckline. An “all of the above” option does not apply.
