The Uber of beauty services, that is where the Glam App comes in. Actress and Blogger, Cara Santana along with hair and Make-up expert Joey Maalouf have come together to bring you beauty on demand! From a blow out to a manicure, this app delivers beauty experts to your front door. Not only is the app great for those of us in need of these services, it offers all you beauty professionals another avenue to grow your business as freelance artists. Want to know more? How did the two of you meet?

Joey- We had mutual friends for sometime and had seen each other and spent time in social situations around town. We always gravitated towards one another; it was a slow and steady burn with a big ignition after we decided to launch The Glam App together.

What sparked the idea for TheGlamApp?

We wanted to create a luxury, affordable, convenient beauty experience for every woman, everywhere. Similarly, we also wanted to create the idea of a virtual agency that would revolutionize the freelance beauty industry landscape, providing an opportunity for stylists to build a brand and clientele while working for themselves.

How does the app work?

Its simple! You download it for free (TheGlamApp) and sign up with your email. Then choose your service, select the style, pick a stylist level and enter your address and appointment time. That’s all there is to it. Stylists singed up and available during the appointment time will receive a notification and its first come first serve. They then log in to the portal and press accept. Then wash your hair and wait for your stylist to arrive.

What services are offered in the app?

Hair styling, make up and nails.

How does pricing compare to the alternative of going to a salon?

We pride ourselves on affordability. No service is over $100.

What trends are you most excited to see as we transition from Summer into Pre Fall?

While summer says all bohemian everything, stepping into fall is all about 70s disco. It’s officially time to revisit glittery eye makeup. Metallic shades paired with luminous skin, pin straight hair and pale pink lipstick for a beyond glam look.
