Why this works in the OC: Each outfit we create needs a focal point. Printed pants are one of many ways for your look to stand out (in the right way) and set the style curve. Prints on a black background are perfect for just about anyone who chooses to rock this bold style. I love printed pants in all their forms, jeans, slouchy pants or palazzo pants (below) just to name a few styles.
Our mild weather is constantly changing from mildly warm to mildly cool, and we all know the time of year makes no difference. So instead of seasons we really just have warm or cool weather, which makes it important that the vast majority of our wardrobe can be warn all year round. This look is the perfect example of how to dress for cooler weather, regardless of the current fashion season. Neutrals and subdued prints are the perfect pairing. I know I’ve said this a ton of times, but mastering the art of layering is key to great OC style-for both function and fashion.
