Is any one else ready for the weather to stop being so weird and for the sun to come out, and stay out?! As much as I wish we had an actual winter in Southern California, with summer right around the corner I’m ready to go back to my weekly beach routine. I love a dress that is cute, comfy, and effortless, and this Novella mini dress is just that. You can always count on Novella for a great print, and I love that they’ve used neutral tones for this dress. I’ve seen this silhouette, with the higher neckline and cap sleeves, in other prints and I’ve always liked the dress so when I found this one, at a sample sale no less, I was sold. Keeping with the neutral theme, I topped it off with neutral accessories and there you have it.
It may come as no surprise that my favorite part about this look is my shoes.. I believe I mentioned in a previous What We Wear, that I’m a sucker for a neutral bootie. I also really love mules right now, and I found the perfect hybrid. With the appearance of a bootie and the functionality of a mule, and the fact that they practically blend into my skin tone, they were perfect for this dress. This is definitely not the last time you’ll see those!
