How-to: Beach Waves plus The Best Beach Wave Hair Sprays

How-to Beachy Waves in just Minutes

1. Products & Tools: Listed Below are several products to help give you get-the-look. My personal favorite is Oribe Dry Texturing Spray. It’s perfect for my fine hair. Next you need a round curling iron, of course. You don’t need any thing fancy, you can use which ever one you have. The size of the barrel will determine the size of the curl.

2. Section your hair & part: Once you have done this start at the bottom of your hair.

3. Take a section of you hair, spray your favorite product at the root of the section (not all over) and wrap it around the barrel of the curling iron without using the clamp. It’s best if the tip curling iron is facing down. Watch your finger tips you don’t want to get a burn.  After about 15-30 seconds (depending on the thickness of your hair) let the section go and repeat. Tip: Don’t touch any of your waves until you are finished. This gives time for the waves to set and they will last longer.

4. Run your fingers NOT a brush through your hair and your Beachy Wave are done.

One of the reasons I love this look is because it does not have to be perfect. Plus your hair is perfectly set up for an amazing braid the following day.

Note: These products do make your hair feel a bit dry that is normal and what keep the beachy summertime texture your looking for.
