Summer & Pre-Fall Trends
It’s amazing how many trends you can pack into one layout, let alone one look. Don’t worry, we’ll show you how to wear multiple trends while looking completely effortless.
Trends are often new ways of wearing clothing you already have more than going out and buying the next “hot” thing. Not to say that we don’t love to shop and buy great trendy pieces, but styling is a skill and making the most out of your closet is a MUST (I know I’m a broken record on this subject). Most of the looks we’re showing in this post are new ways to wear basics you most likely already own. There are a few of this year’s hot trends that are big through next year, including: bomber jackets and cold shoulder tops & dresses. Don’t worry we have the new trends too like rocking a robe, YES a robe-well not just any robe.
HIGH WAISTED CULOTTES + ROBE COAT
It’s still summer and the idea of thinking about “pre-fall” seems to cramp my summer mood. If you’re like me (and the whole team) the idea of a new fashion season is always exciting despite enjoying the current season. Not to worry, there are always ways to make these two conflicting ideas work. One of the biggest trends we’re seeing is wearing a “robe-coat”. Making this fall trend work right now is more simple than you think. Trade out your kimono for a silk robe. It’s still summer so try throwing a short or long silk robe over a swim top or crop top with cutoffs, or a trend pant like culottes for the perfect balance of transitioning seasons.

LINGERIE INSPIRED OUTERWEAR + CHOKER
Pajama party dressing is going strong now and into the fall. Pretty pastel pieces reminiscent of lingerie is a way to update your go-to casual street vibe. Don’t forget your choker. This summer hit accessory is a fall favorite too.

CROP FLARES + BOXY TOP
Fashion girls couldn’t get enough of crop flares this summer, including our very own styling team. A simple way to bring this trend into fall is to simply pair with your favorite booties. This combo will give you an updated edge. Add any top (we love this boxy wrap top) and you’re done-effortless styling at it’s best.

90’s + SLIDES
I don’t want to give away my age, but I wore this in high school ; ). The 90’s are back in big way! Pair your 90’s outfit with modern shoe trends like slides for a 2.0 version. You never want your throw-back-look to be too literal, always add a modern component so you don’t look like you’re wearing a costume.
