#OOTD Cutoffs & a Kimono

Why this works in the OC: The is the quintesential boho babes’ summer uniform, cutoffs and a kimono. That being said, you can always make any style unique to you with your choice of accessories and the overall styling. Rebecca took the pop of pink in the kimono’s pom poms and added the brights to her stack of arm candy. This is a great tip…..Take a detail from your kimono and use that to make a unique statement like Rebecca. A statement necklace or layered necklaces would also be great accessory ideas. Don’t be afraid to change out the basic tank for a rock or graphic tee. Not a fan of shorts? No worries, trade out the cutoffs for boyfriend jeans or wide leg jeans. Stylist Tip: If you choose wide leg jeans, pair them with a chunky shoe like a clog or wedge. Chunkier heels balance out the scale of the bells.
Hair & Make-up: Braids are a great choice, and any braid will do. As far as makeup goes, my recommendation is to keep it simple as this is a weekend day look and you don’t your make up “over done”.
