Your Favorite Items Restyled
with Stylist, Rebecca Araoz
It’s one thing to be advised on how to restyle your clothing; it’s another to be able to see restyled outfits side by side. We collaborated with stylist Rebecca Araoz to get her take on your favorite items restyled including; black skinnies, a shirt dresses, a wrap dresses, and a statement blouse. Plus, we wanted to share a few of her personal styling tips.
We love collaborating with local creatives because everyone has a different style point of view. And it’s in these different points of view that give us all collectively so much style inspiration. Mixing, matching and pulling details and inspiration from multiple places is how each of us get our unique style.
Army Jacket + Black Skinnies
This is a style combination that always gives a cool girl, street vibe. Military jackets and black skinnies are closet staples, and there are endless styling combinations. We love both ways Rebecca styled this embellished army jacket and tie front skinnies. “You can enhance any look with a unique find like this embellished military jacket.” She shows us how to play with layers, textures and prints for a modern, cool girl, street vibe whether your going out for coffee or cocktails.

Sleeveless Shirt Dress
Rebecca’s style philosophy is pretty simple and straight forward, “Clothes should be practical, relaxed and alluring.” Don’t we know it! Rebecca effortlessly shows us how-to execute her style philosophy with one shirt dress; changing it from a dress to a vest. These are the kind of ways we all need to look at our clothing. And ask ourselves, what else can this piece transform into?

The Wrap Dress
Clothes are never simply what they appear to be. Rebecca shows us that a beautiful wrap dress can take us from date night to an off duty stroll. Just add casual layers and sneakers. “Don’t be afraid to wear sneakers with your favorite dress”.

The Statement Blouse
Statement blouses, just like most things you have in your closet, have both a dressy and casual side. Rebecca suggests choosing a “dramatic top with a classic print, like black and white stripes, so that it can be worn over and over.”
