It’s Finally Time to Bundle Up!

Why this works: Bundle up in Layers……Stylish layers are key to chilly mornings and warm afternoons. In the last month the weather has finally started to match the season. I talk all the time about layering. This is a vital styling component to master. It doesn’t matter whether your style is over the top bohemian, or chic and minimal, knowing how to layer is everything.
One of the masters of street style is Damsel in Dior. This mega blogger masterfully ads details like a striped shirt with plaid pumps and a logo bag to add visual interest to her look. These are details to take note of, and lets face it, these details need to be copied. This look starts with the basics, black turtle neck and black pants-these should be in everyone’s closet! From there it’s all about adding on the layers. A light weight button down is a great 2nd layer; it adds visual interest while also adding a bit of warmth. Throw on a cool jacket or coat and of course a great pair of shoes and you’re ready. Remember to take inspiration from a look, you can copy it completely or you can work with what you have in your existing wardrobe. Either way happy styling!
